Hello to all! New to this site, but from what I've read, I'm glad to have been invited to joined. Cabinetman was correct in his message to me about Joe and the WoodworkStuff forum.
As far as wood working; I have a Ryobi BT3k saw, routers (3 I think?), various other wood working tools etc. Built our kitchen cabinets about 4 years ago and other projects as well. I am by no means a professional wood worker, just enjoy what my grandfather taught me many a years ago! Some of my other hobbies are target shooting, astronomy (4 and half inch reflector, so I'm not high end into space watching), computers and radio communications. Also retired for the last seven years. Main job was electrician/electronics.
Wow, I am rambling on, enought to scare you all away! lol Anway hope to learn what I can from the knowledge base here.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome! Much appreciate that. The thing about your site Joe, it is wide and loaded with lots of good members. I'm sure there is going to be the one or two that are bummers, but I will over look them. I hope to contribute some usefull posts within the next few days, (after the grass is mowed, taking 4 days now! lol). For the moment I'm going to look through some of the threads and get familiar with the site. You all have a great day...

You might laugh, but I anonymously emailed one to myself just to see how I would react.  Cutting grass...not fun at all. I have to do it every 4 days now. If I don't...can't find the dogs.  |

Thanks Dave for the welcome and sending one right back at ya! This site is a whole lot more fun and friendlier than the one I dropped out of a few days back. I think you'll enjoy this forum sir. And Mike, how did you feel getting a "welcome"?! Bet it was heart warming even if you had to send it to your self!!! lol And I still don't have the yard completely mowed. Rain, people, rain, and still some more rain coming!!!  The people were ok though, great neighbors!) Well, you all have a great day and hope to meet you all tomorrow...  |
