Back in 1979, I ordered a class ring for my graduation from high school for the following year. Meaning, I graduated in 1980. But, you had to order the ring well ahead of time to make sure you got it. Well, if I remember correctly, it cost me about $125 back then. I paid for it with my own money, and it was a really nice ring. 18K gold, genuine ruby stone, etc. Somewhere along the way, my ring was stolen or lost. I priced a new one & it came to about $900. Talk about sticker shock!

Herb, That is only in USA Dollars because we're borrowing money from the "Money Tree" like there was a forest of the good stuff to never worry about... The fact is we're being sold down the rapids of a river WITHOUT ANY paddles at all! We are going down the tubes... correction... we have been flushed down the tubes... ... hold your head up... it's past the neck & heading for yor mouth... Hang on! . . . . . . . . Sure wish I had my life preserver on... Oh well, late again...
