Hi, my name is Harry Sinclair, I'm age 77 next month, retired in 2000 after 50 years repairing consumer electronics. I have, since childhood been interested in wood and metalworking as hobbies, since retirement I have concentrated on small projects in my 15' x 20' shed which is quite well equipped. This forums host, Joe Lyddon and I go back about three years, not always agreeing with each other but that makes life interesting! I have, over a period of time produced many projects, all complete with photo-shoots showing HOW I made the item. Most of these projects feature the plunge router as well as the ski mounted router. I recently bought a mini wood lathe, and whilst far from being an expert, have, with the help of members of another forum, reached a stage where I no longer get dig-ins and have to use sheets of 80 grit paper to end up with a reasonable result. I was born in England and migrated to Australia with my wife and seven year old son in 1964 as "£10.00 Poms" I hope to post regular threads and will always be happy to answer any questions and if you like what you see, please recommend this forum to your friends and colleagues. Hi Harry!
Yes, we've had our times... but when the dust settles, it was really "all in fun"!
Harry, you are a very talented woodworker... it will be nice to see your contributions.
I look forward to seeing them...
Thank you for "dropping in" and becoming a member of our Forum!
G;day mate... (I'm hitting the sack)
