This shows the little holders for each deck of cards. The first time I made some of these, I cut individual pieces for the sides & ends, glued them together with a special jig I made to make it easier. ... and I only made three of them... for fun. This time, I needed to make eight of them and was NOT looking forward to all of the glue-ups... Then, it hit me.... Cut long 1/8" thick strips in length of the side & ends... Glue them together to form rectangular tubes... it was easier to glue the larger strips of sides and ends together... After the tubes were made, all I had to do was cut slices, thick enough of a deck of cards, glue bottoms in them, & I would be done! Regardless of the type of Card Box, these little sub-boxes are used to hold a deck of cards. Sometimes I glued two of them together for a two-deck holder. That's exactly what I did... and it worked out beautifully! Here are some of the pictures during that process... After this, I made three card boxes... two equal in size to hold just two decks each... and a larger box for a Bridge Group my wife belongs to that will hold six two-deck holders (12 decks total)... Those will be covered in separate threads... as Card Box #1, #2, and #3.
