My dad made this stool... I inherited it... I liked it so much, I drew plans for it and made one! Ramon Mijares, my grandson & I made one the other day. This was Ramon's first woodworking project! We had a little trouble but got through it...
PaPa and grandson Tommy Mijares will be making another one very soon I hope... I think I'll make another one for myself again... I'm the guinea pig in the process performing all operations on mine, showing what is being done... to be done by grandson. Loads of F U N !

What drawings, what a great result, however, I'm disappointed that you didn't do a photo-shoot showing HOW you made them. With two of you there was no excuse Joe! At the moment I use an old milk crate in the shed to enable me to reach things however as soon as I get in the right mood I shall make one of those stools.

Harry,. Believe me... there IS an excuse...1. The main objective was to perform each operation showing the student then watching and supervising the student very carefully to be sure all went well and SAFELY. 2. There was NO TIME to think about taking pictures during and in between each operation. 3. If I had attempted that, we would be UNFINISHED with the project, he would be back home without anything to show for his time, and I would have two incomplete projects waiting for his next visit... which could weeks - months away. 4. Sometimes we have to weigh the benefits vs drawbacks and act accordingly. 5. I thought about it... it didn't take very long to have my mind made up... 6. I did it the best way I could at the time of execution. 7. Plus... I thought the project was simple enough to not really warrant a Step by Step photo-shoot... Sorry I disappointed you... 8. Maybe next time when it's Tommy's turn... I will try it... No guarantees / promises. Hope you understand.

That's a handy stool. I agree, in process pics would be nice. I might make one for my wife.

I don't have any In Process pictures...
The NEXT time I(we) make some, I will take pictures!
I have no idea of when that will be...
Try it anyway... it's not all that hard... ... just know where the 5* angle cuts are... and make'em...
Take care.
