I was sitting in front of my MESSY bench... I saw a nice piece of plywood and some other nice scraps... some 3/4, 1/2, & 1/4... I put the larger piece on the bench... then I collected all of the tools that were on the bench and put them into groups of how they could be stuck into little storage holes. Then I started marking up the base starting in the upper right corner working my way to the left. Cutting spacer blocks and section end blocks, etc. ... gluing by just spreading & rubbing the pieces together until they felt firm, etc. One thing led to another... and this what I ended up with... I LOVE IT! It makes so much easier to keep things straight. In the holes for the Chisels, I put styrofoam blocks in the bottom to protect the edges.
