Cool tenons coming out other side, etc.
I can tell they are going to be heirloom quality just like your Desk / Table!
I trust you will be finishing them the same way?

Nice looking nightstand. Looks pretty tall, how high is it? What's your plan for a finish?

27 inches on the night stands. Bed is a little high too. I will use the same finish I used on my mission desk. Pegs are actually mortises, you just see the drill part from the mortiser. Plain, simple, and functional. I will probably build the drawer as the way across.

Looking good, I started using quarter-sawn white oak for projects like this after 15 years of flat-sawn red oak at the collage where I worked in the wood shop. Quarter sawn is what makes it unique and I think easier to stain uniformly.
