I got tickets for the 2:35 PM show, online... the only way to buy tickets!
I got to the theater about 2 PM... had to park about 1/4 mile away... was quite a hike for me! (but made it)
I had about 1/2 hr to kill... went to see about some pop corn... they had Small, Medium, Large, & Jumbo bags... I asked about a small or medium... she said "we have them for 6 & 7"... I said "DOLLARS?"... she said "Yes"... I was stunned and just speechless... I eventually said "this is NOT what I expected... I'm going to let you keep your pop corn." ... I turned around and walked away!
I didn't ask about the Large bags... they would probably be MORE THAN MY Ticket cost of $10.25! I could NOT believe it!
A lot changes have happened in close to 15 years!
I was the First one in the theater and was the 40th one (last one) OUT of the theater.
I watched every second of the movie except for one VERY FAST pee break!
I saw everything to the line of Credits & until the screen went blank!
My Review of this movie:
This was one of the Best movies I have seen in my life! I think everyone in the World should see it!
It started out in 1777... and went to the Present time frame.
It covered the history of various events over the years...
Outlooks were described from a wide variety of societies... some you would think were bad and some you would think were good.
It covered how America (USA) was formed... with Mexico, etc. a very good history lesson...
America was portrayed as an evil offensive country... after being compared to other countries, world wide, over the past centuries, it was shown that America was NOT as bad as portrayed. Very interesting history.
All of the wars, where America was involved, were covered, commented on, and compared to other countries and events.
Capitalism, known as the Big Rip Off, was explained very nicely... resulting in a NOT SO BAD way to go; certainly better than other choices.
Examples of how Freedom & Capitalism worked were beautifully done... I learned a lot... Don't remember the details!
I had to wipe a few tears away at various parts of the movie... it was very 'touching'.
It was a GREAT Movie... Very nicely directed & edited... I highly recommend it to everyone in the World!
When the movie ended, it got a Standing Ovation by the Audience!
Most of the Audience were obviously Americans!
I hope you like my review of this movie. I hope that you will be able to see it!
