Ok so I have poted this on another forum but thought you might like it over here too Finished size is about 125 mm x 60mm (5" x 2 1/2") It is Red Gum burl from the local creek, fell off a tree

Wow that’s incredible. I’ve never seen anything like it. When I saw the title I just thought it was just wood bowl turned on a lath.

That's really different. Looks something like marble. What did you finish it with?

Two coats of danish oil and two coats of varnish, it said semi-gloss on the tin but it was an old tin and it dont look semi
