First of all, it's better to Upload your pictures to a Hosting site. www.tinypic.com is a very good FREE hosting site! It allows you to Upload from your computer to theirs as well as: 1. Resize (good for HUGE pictures) suggest no bigger than 800 x 600. 2. Crop 3. Modify contrast, etc. A very nice site... Reliable... and it's FREE! After you Upload a picture (Image) you will see a few lines of code: One of those lines is for Forums, etc. and looks something like this: [ i m g ] ....special url of your picture ... [ / i m g ] Select it, Ctrl C, then Paste (Ctrl V) at the cursor within your Post. It's as simple as that! NOTE: Avatars can be setup also! See another Thread for Avatars. I am going to Insert a picture below this sentence, as an example. Feel free to upload & insert as many pictures as you desire. If you have any questions or problems, Reply.

You say it is "better" to upload to a hosting site. Is it necessary to upload to a hosting site?
I belong to forums that do it both ways. I much prefer the "direct" method.

George Hi George, Right now, in this release of this Forum, you enter the URL of the picture, etc. to post a picture. In a newer release, which I have NOT gone to yet because I'm not very happy with it, you will be able to Upload pics. Direct, which, I agree, is better than the current URL bit. I will take a look at the New Beta release & see how it's coming along... Thank you. Enjoy!
